MISSIONAL COMMUNITY

We aim to be a community on His mission.

 The goal of missional communities is three fold:

1. Grow as Servants of God (Col 3:23-24, 1 Cor 4:1-2, John 12:26): MCs give us the space to grow and challenge each other in our understanding of God, the Gospel, and our role and function in it. 

2. Grow as the Family of God (Matthew 12:50, 1 Timothy 3:15): The Scriptures don’t describe the church as an organization that looks like a family, but rather it describes the church as an ACTUAL FAMILY! In MC we learn to serve one another with the love of Christ and aid one another in growing more and more into the family of God He has called us to be!

3. Grow as Missionaries for God (2 Corinthians 5:19-21, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15): We have all been given the privilege and calling of God’s ambassadors and missionaries in this world. So, every MC aims to serve our community, sharing the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ with it.

We are very intentional about seeking spaces and opportunities to live out this mission. You may see a potluck or snacks followed by a time of sharing from scripture or a book study and prayer. You may even see a family game night. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. But most importantly, you’ll grow. You’ll grow in your understanding of Scriptures and God’s heart for you. You’ll grow in grace in relationships. You’ll grow in service to the community, letting your light so shine that men might see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven (Matt 5:16).
